Yellow Rocket, Garden yellowrocket

Young leaves of this plant taste warm and resemble garden cress. They can be eaten raw in salads or cooked like spinach. Older leaves can be used as a vegetable, but they have a rather strong flavor and are best cooked, possibly in fresh water. These leaves are available year-round, even in winter, especially in mild weather conditions. To increase the yield of the plant, it is advisable to remove flower stalks as soon as they appear – these are edible just like the leaves. Pick the outer leaves when the plant starts to grow again.
