Description
Edible fruit - can be eaten both raw and cooked. The fruit is very large, with a maximum length of 16 cm and a width of 4 cm. There are different varieties of this fruit; some (with orange skin) have a delicious banana flavor, while others (with yellow, white, or dark brown skin) are less pleasant. According to some sources, the white fruits ripen more slowly and have a milder taste than the orange varieties. The fruit can also be used to make jam, pies, ice cream, and other sweet treats. The fruits fall from the tree in the autumn and are stored until they are fully ripe. For some people, the fruit can cause gastrointestinal issues.
