Description

Leaves can be eaten both raw and cooked. Well-grown plants produce leaves that are 15 cm or longer. They have a mild and pleasant flavor, making them a valuable addition to salads. The leaves serve as a tasty alternative to lettuce. Young seeds can also be consumed raw or cooked when they are still green and unripe. They have a pleasant nutty flavor, but the seeds are too small and cumbersome for most people to harvest.
