Description
Leaves can be eaten both raw and cooked. They are often prepared like spinach or incorporated into a delicious puree, sometimes mixed with a bit of sorrel to add extra flavor. These leaves have a fairly mild taste and are an excellent vegetarian option. They are available quite early in the year. The hybrid crop of spinach sorrel and Tianschanicus is suitable for carbon farming and is often harvested due to its balanced carbohydrate content.
