Description

Fruits: These fruits can be eaten both raw and cooked, and they are known for their sweet flavor. They are quite large, with a thick layer of flesh, and have a diameter of about 25 mm. Additionally, they are a source of vitamin C. Note that the seeds have tiny hairs that can cause irritation when eaten. The fruits can also be used to make tea rich in vitamin C. Flowers: The flowers of this plant can be eaten both raw and cooked, and they have an aromatic scent. They are often used in jelly and preserves. To avoid bitterness, it is recommended to remove the white underside of the petals. Young shoots: The young shoots of this plant can be cooked and are used as leafy greens. They are mainly harvested in the spring. Seeds: The seeds are a good source of vitamin E and can be ground into powder to be mixed with flour or added as a supplement to food. Again, it is important to remove the hairs on the seeds to prevent irritation. Tea can also be made from the leaves of this plant.
